In this article, I discuss how resistance is channelized through performance. We should keep in mind that in conceptualizing and talking about performances that display a direct will to resist the status-quo in society, there is always an inherent contradiction embodied in that performance. Through the performance, both the performers and the audience mutually interact and project onto that specific performative space, the vision of an alternative and resistive reality.
