Elderly residents of Dhaka can remember that a long time ago the city became devoid of crows, and that was when this event or series of events took shape, over a period of five years or so, and it all began in a village called Boikunthopur. The town of Sirajganj lay on the west bank of the river Jamuna, and six miles west of Sirajganj was a small village, and the name of the village was Boikunthopur.
