The Cow

Before one knew it, it was morning. But the path through the floodplain seemed unending. And even after crossing the plain and reaching the main road, one still had to walk a long way down that. Ahedali looked around to steal a glance at the sun, as yet devoid of heat that had just emerged over the mist-laden horizon. He then called out to his son and said, “Twist the cow’s ears hard, my boy! Why doesn’t the bloody cow move fast?”
